CleanQR was designed from the ground up to operate with zero server-side data processing. When you use our QR Code Generator, all text encoding, matrix mathematical calculations, color adjustments, logo overlays, and image rendering occur entirely within your local browser sandbox via JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers entered into QR form fields.
- We do not store passwords or SSIDs entered into the Wi-Fi QR generator.
- We do not upload or store image files or logos you choose to embed in QR codes.
- We do not require user accounts, passwords, or authentication profiles.
3. Static QR Codes vs. Tracking Redirects
Unlike commercial dynamic QR platforms that route every smartphone scan through proprietary tracking redirect URLs, CleanQR produces 100% static QR codes. When a person scans a CleanQR code, their phone connects directly to the encoded destination without passing through intermediate servers. CleanQR has no technical ability to intercept, log, or track scan events.
4. Local Storage & Cookies
CleanQR does not store your unfinished QR content in browser localStorage or cookies. If local storage is used in future versions for user interface preferences (such as light/dark mode), it will store solely non-identifiable UI state.
5. Advertising & External Links
To maintain this service free without subscriptions, the website may display non-intrusive advertisements in designated side rails or bottom banners. These ad slots are strictly segregated from the generator workflow and do not receive access to any data you input into our tools.
